Get Involved with the Rescue!

NNEDR is Always looking for volunteers. There are lots of jobs available and we have a "the more the merrier" outlook. So if you can spare a few minutes or a few hours a week we can use your help.

Some of the volunteer jobs we have available are fostering, transporting, recruiting foster homes and volunteers, checking references on applications, taking foster dogs to obedience school, dog walking, collecting donations and manning our tables at dog related events.

NNEDR is made up entirly of volunteers and we are always in need of more.
We recently were lucky enough to meet Mary and bring her on board as the Volunteer Coordinator. If you would like to get involved with the rescue in any way we would LOVE to hear from you. Some of the volunteer jobs we have available are:

• Transporting dogs to vet appointments

• Transporting dogs from the shelter in CT to VT

• Picking up donations from locations

• Recruiting volunteers

• Recruiting donation drop off locations

• Attending adoption events

• Checking application references

• Hanging flyers at stores and vet clinics

• Training foster dogs in our training program

• Soliciting donations
